Woman & Home Magazine Awards

There are not enough words to express how proud and emotional I am to have been nominated in the “Amazing Women over 50 Community Awards” in Woman & Home magazine by you, the amazing people of Glee Club UK.
By making it into the top five women in the community category, I feel that Glee is already a winner and we can be extremely proud.
With over 50 nominations the magazine could really see what belonging to the Glee family means to everyone. We know ourselves that it’s so much more than just singing. In Glee, we've tried to create an all inclusive friendly, nurturing, safe environment to sing, laugh and make amazing friendships in. It really is a wonderful family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am so proud of everybody involved in Glee, all our amazing choir leaders, talented song arrangers, those cheerfully supporting in the background and of course all our lovely choir members who turn out to sing every week and make Glee the special place it is. You all bring me so much joy. A special thank you to Karen Owen and Clair Riley for all their work collecting in the nominations and submitting them to the magazine and of course to everyone who sent in nominations.
I believe with a passion and have done since the very beginning, that singing with Glee is the very best therapy for health and happiness. I absolutely love our Glee family and long may it continue. Thank you so much!
