After being delayed in July 2020 and again in July 2021, the Cancer Research Fundriasing event, Ascot Relay for Life finally took place in October 2021. An amazing community weekend with everyone united in the one aim to raise funds for research to beat cancer.
Our 24 hour relay walking team, Gleeful Friends, made up of singers along with their friends, family and colleagues raised a staggering £6,902 for Cancer Research UK.
Glee Club UK performed a fabulous song set to entertain all the walkers while they relayed around the grounds of Ascot Racecourse. A fabulous weekend enjoyed by all and we are looking forward to taking part again on 16th and 17th July 2022.
